Super Daddy CC faced Dirty Dozen at SKBZ ground on 14th August in what turned out to be an absolute thriller!
Super Daddy CC batted first with opener Yasser Mufti dominating with an impressive cameo of 29. His partner Shehryar Qadir was dismissed early on before Naeem Siddiqui took over. His sublime knock of 62 included 6 boundaries and 3 sixes to set Super Daddies up for a mammoth total. However a few quick wickets tipped the scales in Dozen's favor before a late surge of 19 by Ali Mufti propelled Super Daddys to 168 for 7 in 22 overs. Bilal Khan and Badar took 2 wickets each while Abid and Imran picked up a wicket each.
The 2nd innings was spectacular! Super Daddy's bowlers kept picking up wickets but Dirty Dozen stood strong with their batsmen chipping in to keep the scoreboard ticking. Openers Imran and Umair knocked cameos of 28 and 22 before Abid Aslam really put his pedal to the gas with 45 runs. Babar Mufti however was sublime with the ball picking up 5 wickets in his spell to keep the momentum in his team's favor. Eventually 23 by Umar Latif and a 19 run spot by Saad Khamisani lead Dirty Dozen to 168 for 6 in 22 overs.
What a fight! The match was tied with cricket being the ultimate winner.
