SEQURE XI vs Ziauddin XI played on 03.10.15 at IBA Ground was another one sided affair which the Sequre XI won comfortably by 85 runs. Batting first Sequre XI made 220 in their allotted 20 overs thanks to some quick knocks by Khurram, Jalal and Shah. In reply, the Ziauddin team never looked up to the task and fell short by 85 runs in the end.
Jalal looked in top form scoring a rapid 91 of just 47 balls and his start was capitalized on by Khurram and Shah Qureshi who both displayed an exceptional ability to clear the boundary scoring 45 of 33 and 37 of 16 respectively. Hammad was the pick of the ballers picking up 2 wickets at an economy of just over 5.
In response, Ziauddin XI found the target too steep as none of their batsmen managed to capitalize on their starts. Shah Qureshi was in on the act again picking up 2 for 15 and was supported by both Faysal and Raheel who picked up two wickets each. The end result was a comfortable 85 run victory for Sequre XI.
