The Lyceum School thrashed the Meriotrious School by 10 wickets at the IBA Cricket Ground on 19-10-2015.
Batting first, the Meriotrious School failed to get any major partnerships going. The top order spent some time at the crease but to no avail as they failed to capitalize on their starts. Ahtesham was the top scorer getting 22 of 27 balls, helping Meritorious stumble to 127 at the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Rafey Sheikh led the Lyceum bolwing line up grabbing 4 wickets at a miserly economy of just 4 runs an over.
In response, The Lyceum School made easy work of the target acheiving it in just 13.2 overs. Openers Sharez Tariq and Umer Khanani stayed till the end to see out a 10 wicket victory for their side, scoring 56 (45) and 51 of just 32 balls respectively.
