Eagles thrashed Southend Club in a humiliating defeat on their own turf by 9 wickets on 15-11-2015.
Southend batted first and were unable to take complete advantage of their home ground, only managing to post 122 at the loss of 7 wickets. Shoaib Akhther came in to open the innings and was dismissed after scoring 17. Rehan was the holding glue for the innings, occupying the crease for 32 balls and making 35 runs in the process. Mohammad Mehboob and Ahmed Saleem contributed with cameos to take the score to 122. Shahzaid and Saulatat picked up 2 wickets each for the Eagles Cricket Club.
The Eagles top order came out all guns blazing, attempting to finish the match in a hurry. Rehan Nazim dispatched the Southend bowlers to all ends of the ground, scoring 26 in just 17 balls before Asad Mahmood and Hassan Zaidi finished the game off. They ended the match with scores of 49 and 34 respectively to hand Eagles a 9 wicket victory.
