The Karachi Super Kings took on the Master Blasters in what was probably the most important clash of the Fit In 5 t20 League yet. The match took place at the SKBZ Ground on 14-11-2015.
The Super Kings elected to bat first and set a troubling total of 161 at the loss of 9 wickets on the board. The main contribution came from the middle order consisting of Adnan Danish, Owais Anjum and Mustafa Mazhar. The first two consolidated the innings with a 50 run stand scoring 39 and 40 respectively while Mustafa Mazhar added 49 more to the Super King's cause, taking the total to 161. Hassan Shah was the star bowler picking up 4 wickets at the expense of 22 runs in his 4 overs while Khurram also bowled brilliantly adding 2 wickets to his name.
In response, the Master Blasters lost opener Zain early on in the piece as he fell victim to Hasan Javed. Despite this, Irfan Ullah and Khurram put up a match winning 100 run stand for the third wicket, contributing 57 each to the total. However, they were unable to take their team completely over the line as they both lost their wickets, leaving the winning runs to Idrees and Faraz who finished the match in fine fashion. The Master Blasters completed an emphatic victory with 4 overs to spare and 7 wickets still in their arsenal.
