The Friends Cricket Club outclassed the Unfit Legends by 75 runs at the MKCA on 19-11-2015.
Friends Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. They got off to a rocky start as Tahir Jamot was dismissed on a duck by Shehryar. However, Usama and Danish Elahi built the innings solidly, scoring 57 and 30 respectively, sharing 13 boundaries between them. Shoaib Jamil and Hamza carried on where the top order left, keeping the scoreboard ticking rapidly with contributions of 35 each. The platform was set for Sherry Shah to launch, and he delivered terrifficly with his cameo of 29 in just 10 balls to take FCC's total to 208.
The FCC bowlers then did their job sublimely, restriciting the oppostion to just 134 in their 20 overs. Ali Sohail spearheaded the attack, adding a 5 wicket haul to his name. Sherry Shah also bowled cleverly in the middle overs, picking up 3 wickets to tilt the game strongly in FCC's favour. The only contribution in the top order for Unit Legends came from Fouad Sayeed who scored 27. Tailenders Shams Afreen and Shamoun showed some fighting spirit, but were unable to salvage anything for their team as they fell short by 75 runs.
