Karachi Patriots met Super Star CC in 13th challengers Cup at New Navy.
Karachi Patriots openers struggled as Mutaqqi faced 6 balls for his 1 run and then he got bowled by Hamza Khan. One down Faisal Butt hit some boundaries to calm the situation but he too got out after scoring 27 of 24 balls. Adeel (36) and Haseeb (33) partnership was the one that put the pressure back on the bowling side which helped Patriots posting a total of 170 in 20 overs.
Super Star opener Farhad (32) was impressive in the chase along with Ali (20) both gave their side a fiery start after both departed Adeel was all over Super Star's middle order taking 4 wickets. Owais resurrected the chase by scoring a fifty at a strike rate of 189 despite that valiant effort Star's lost the match by 8 runs.
