Shamsher CC met Strikers CC in 13th challengers Cup at NBP.
Shamsher CC were invited to bat first on a green top NBP wicket. Opening pair of Zia and played cautiously as the ball was seaming around. Waqar exploited the bowling friendly conditions and took 4 top order wickets one after another which broke the back of Shamsher CC batting line and they stumbled upon 96 all out in 18.4 overs.
Farhan got rid of both the openers of Strikers CC early in the innings. Waqar (23) and Yasir (41) partnership proved to be vital as the target was small but was tough to chase in these tricky conditions. Strikers won the match by 5 wickets chasing the target in 15.1 overs.
