Bubbers were up against Super Daddy Cricket Club at Moin Khan Cricket Academy in a friendly match.
Super Daddys batted first but were unable to get off to a brisk start this time as Farzan bowled a tight line and length and didn't give much away. Shehryar(19) fell to Farzan and Rehan Sheikh(17) couldn't hold fort for too long either as he became the first of three wickets taken by Ali Soomro. The middle order could not make any noticeable contributions and it was only left to Nadir and Yasser to salvage some pride. They did exactly that as Nadir plundered 33 off 14 and Yasser 31 off 16 to take the Bubbers total to 160 for 9 in 20 overs.
160 at MKCA is always considered a below par total specially under lights and it proved to be the case here again. Wamiq and Iraj stepped out and quickly took the attack to the Daddys. Iraj hit 5 gorgeous boundaries before being dismissed by Adnan Amjad but it was Wamiq on the other end who was becoming more of a threat. He kept middling everything that was thrown at him and slammed a crafty century which included 9 fours and 6 sixes. He was there at the end at 103 off 56 balls along with Zohaib(21)* as the two saw Bubbers cruise to an easy 8 wicket win.
