Generation XI v Creative Chaos (20 over match)
Generation XI batted first and were off to a disastrous start, losing their opener Mugheer for just 2 runs. The team was met by a fierce bowling attack and lost their top order early on in the innings. Arshad (41) and Ameen (32) were the saviors of the day, contributing runs with the bat and putting up a fight. The remaining batsmen were outdone by Nadeem and Asif who did well to limit the opposition, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively to take control of the innings. Generation XI eventually posted a target of 164 in 20 overs.
Creative Chaos were off to a solid start with opener Safdar scoring 34 runs to set the foundation for a comfortable chase. The batsmen however fell apart after that, throwing away their wickets, unable to capitalize on a decent start. Arshad ripped through the opposition, picking up 3 wickets before Faraz stepped in to stabilize the innings. He scored a much needed 55 runs at a strike rate of 240 to pull Creative Chaos right back in the game. The game was virtually won before a last minute run out turned the result in favor of Generation XI. Creative Chaos scored 163 runs.
