5th Campaigners Trophy 2016- Semi Final
Panthers XI batted first, losing openers Adnan and Khurram for just 3 runs. The team struggled throughout the innings, losing wickets regularly, unable to get going at any stage. Legends bowlers were in-form and on fire that day, restricting the flow of runs and striking at key times to stump the opposition. Faisal, Maaz and Farhan lead the attack, taking 2 wickets each before Akther stepped in to save his team scoring an impressive 60 runs at a strike rate of 120 to help his team post a respectable total. However, with little support from the rest of his squad, Panthers XI only managed to score 136 runs in 20 overs.
Legends CC have had a miraculous run throughout this tournament! Despite losing their opener Umer Ishtiaq for just 10 runs, the team kept the momentum going and the scoreboard ticking to seal a comfortable victory. Shehriyar scored 61 runs at a strike rate of 160 and carried his team over the line. Legends CC chased the total in 19 overs.
Legends CC won by 8 wickets and earned a place in the final.
