Titans Cricket Club batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Hammad for just 7 runs. Shehzad then stepped in to score a blistering 42 runs to lead the recover and was accompanied by Usman who scored a well-deserved 34 runs for his side. The team lost wickets frequently and were unable to build on some decent starts. Friends bowlers fought hard to limit the opposition, striking at crucial times and breaking the momentum. Ehsan and Imran Ashraf lead the attack, taking 3 and 2 wickets respectively with 4 of the Titans batsmen getting out in single digits. Titans CC set a target of 151 runs in 20 overs.
Friends Fighter lost their opener Sheraz Khan for duck! The team struggled with the bat, throwing away their wickets, unable to play the bowlers. Wahaj Uddin (22) and Imran Ashraf (35) tried hard to stabilize the innings and pull their team back in the game but were unable to get over the line. Titans CC were aggressive in their approach, playing as a unit, with each bowler contributing to their side! Iftikhar, Ahad, Mansoor and Arsalan picked up 2 wickets each, giving away nothing to the opposition. Friends Fighter were eventually bowled out for 119 runs.
