RANGOONWALA VS BUFFIELDS (RAMZAN SUPER SIXES)
A game where it was men versus boys. Rangoonwala totally outplayed Buffields in a game where everything went their way.
Batting first Rangoonwala were off to an ideal start. Adnan Akhter and Anwer scored 35 off 10 and 22 off 6 respectively. The duo were further assisted by M.Azhar who top scored with an explosive 33 run knock in just 8 deliveries. Buffields were unable tot take control at any stage of the innings, leaking 15 extras and conceding a massive total of 114 runs in 5 overs. Atif Humayun and Abdullah managed to take 1 wicket each but could not break the oppositions momentum.
Buffields needed to produce an extraordinary innings to successfully chase down this target. With a required run rate of 22.8 per over, scoreboard pressure was on from the first ball. The pressure proved to be too much for Muneeb who threw away his wicket on the first ball leaving the Buffields helpless and desperate for recovery. Saad Saleem showed some resistance with a fighting knock of 23 runs off 8 balls. Shiraz and Bilal Khan also contributed with the bat but were unable to get their team over the line. Sajjad Mirza shined with the ball bowling a brilliant over of 2 wickets for just 2 runs to completely decimate the batting side. Eventually the target got the better of Buffields who were only able to score 67 runs.
An all-round fantastic team performance helped Rangoonwala win the match by 47 runs.
