With an all-round performance Team Green win big against Team Yellow and book their place for the finals of first Idea Women Cricket Tournament.
Team Yellow batted first in a 5 over game and in first ever Ideas Women Cricket Tournament. They had a horrible innings where Team Green bowlers were all over them. Fatima in particular was in dangerous mood with the ball, she made the ball talk and had them on the backfoot from the very beginning. The highest and only double figure score from Team Yellow's innings were the 10 extras. All 3 bowlers for Team Green helped each other if Fatima picked up wickets then Yamna and Sanya applied pressure and did not give any lose ball they both were economical. After the completion of their 5 overs Team Yellow only managed to score 29.
With under 6 an over required, the openers for Team Green looked confident. Team Yellow had all to do their bowlers were only defending a small target of 29 they needed to take early wickets but the opposite happened. Yusra and Fatima the openers for Team Green were in no mood to take this game till the last over they wanted to finish it early and in style and thats what they did. It was Fatima's day as she targetted Marshal and remained not out on 19 of 10 to take her side into the finals of Ideas Women Cricket Tournament.
The Target was chased easily by Team Green in only 5 overs and with all wickets intact.
