A one sided game ended with Team Blue easily beating Team Red to qualify for Final of Ideas Women Cricket Tournament.
It was a game in which Team Red proved to be a no match for the class and professionalism of Team Blue. Team Blue batted first and a place in the final was at stake. Since it was a 5 over game therefore the opening pair had in mind of how they would go about the business of setting up a good first inning score. They had a plan and they played accordingly. Sana Taj was given the role of an aggressor whereas Marium partnered her well. They both were equally supported by Team Red's bowlers as 24 extras were given in a 5 over game which shows lack of discipline from the bowlers. Sana Taj smashed every bowler on her way to a well made 35 of just 20. Rija took the only wicket to fall but was expensive as she gave away 27 runs in 2 overs. In the end Team Blue ended their innings on 73.
Team Red had an ordinary day with the ball but they were hoping for a good batting start to chase down the huge total of 74 but their hopes were shattered as Marium had an incredible day with the ball. She was the star with the ball by some distance. The bowling was so great that none of the batsmen was even able to reach 10. Marium picked up 4 top order wickets to rip the heart out of Team Red. She picked up 4 wickets for just 5 runs in her 2 overs and she was supported by Mala who picked up 2 wickets and Sana. Team Red's innings folded for just 17 runs and they lost the game by a huge margin of 56 runs.
