Since the beginning of the second innings, things looked troublesome for Karachi Smashers. They had a shaky start and the poor display of batting was continued by the following batsmen as well. Saeed Mutair and Jahanzaib tried to make a partnership, but that too could not last long. Shah Ali Zafar was the star of the day, as after a good performance with the bat his bowling was also top notch. He claimed 3 wickets for just 12 runs and was assisted well by his fellow bowlers. Rashid Haneef took 2 wickets for just 4 runs while Asif Mehmood and Babar Rehman also picked the same number of wickets. Ahmed Iqbal bowled economically and was also rewarded with a wicket. This superb all round bowling performance was enough to bowl out Karachi Smashers at the score of just 80. KPT easily won the match by a huge margin of 70 runs.
