Strikers CC Vs Shamsher Khan CC (15th Challengers Cup)
The 3 overs cut down did not stop the Strikers CC from grabbing their win.
Strikers CC were not able to make it on time for the match, due to which the umpire excluded 3 overs from their innings and they had to play 17 overs instead of 20. But this didn't bother the Strikers CC, instead it instigated something that allowed the top batting order to showcase a beautiful piece of cricket. The top 3 batsmen were able to put a decent score on the scoreboard. Shahrukh Asim scored a beautiful total of 57 runs. Strikers CC scored a defendable total of 148 runs in 17 overs.
The Khan's were also in good form, looking to snatch a win with the advantage of 3 overs. Becuase their side was allowed to play 20 overs. But even that did not do the trick for Shamsher Khan CC. Rehan Abdul Hakim scored 47 runs. Waqas and Farhan carried a partnership of 36 runs. Waqar Saleem took 3 wickets for Strikers CC. And Shamsher Khan CC was not able to chase the target, in 20 overs and lost by 1 run.
