Rising Star C.C Vs Karachi Patriots (15th Challengers Cup)

Rising star's started their innings with a duck when Jahandad Khan was dismissed early in the match. But it did not demoralize their side and Haji Abdul Rehman and Danish played a wonderful partnership of 99 runs. The middle batting order was not quite effective on grabbing runs for their side and stumbled one after another. Sarwar Khan managed to score 27 runs for his side. Rising Star C.C scored a total of 169 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets. Had the middle order performed, the total could've been a massive one. Still it was a defendable total for the Rising Star C.C.
Karachi Patriots seemed pretty determined on chasing the target. Unfortunately the opening pair was canned at an early stage in the match. As soon as Faisal Butt stepped on the pitch, things took a 360 degree turn for the Karachi Patriots and he carried the bat till the end taking his side to a victory by scoring 79 runs just off 48 balls. He smashed the balls across the boundary a couple of times. Thus, Karachi Patriots chased the target in 19 overs while scoring a total of 173 runs and won by 4 wickets.
