Southend Panthers Vs Southend Penguins
Panthers proved that they are unstoppable.
Southend Panthers batted first against the Penguins, and looked to be in good form with their batting performance. The middle batting order wan't even asked to come out on the pitch. The top batting order handled the match and played a fantastic inniings. Rehan Sheikh scored 55 runs and Raheel Malik scored 64 runs. Waris and Asif Afridi played a partnership of 35 runs. At the loss of the wickets, Southend Panthers scored a total of 163 runs in 20 overs.
The Southend Penguins seemed to be pretty cool with the target set by the Panthers. Maybe they were just a little too cool to handle the pressure and the superb bowling attack of the Panthers. Almost every bowler managed to pick up more then 1 wicket and stopped the Penguins from chasing the target. The Southend Penguins were able to score 105 runs at the loss of 8 wickets.
