Super Star batted first and were off to a reasonable start as their openers milked the bowlers and did not give them any chance with risky shots. Owais (18) and Mansoor (12) smashed 5 fours in between them and set the tone for rest of the batting order. There was no big innings from Super Star but every one chipped in with some contributions. The highest scorer was the number 6 Shehzad Niaz who remained unbeaten for 29 with 2 sixes to give his side the much needed momentum in the final stages of the innings. In the end they posted a modest 146,
Vanthali did not want much but a fine bowling effort from Super Star did not allow Vanthali to take charge of the match at any point of time. The bowling was of high quality right from the start. Saad Dawood lead the way with the ball in hand as he picked up 4 wickets after his little cameo with the bat. He was supported by every other bowler as they bowled out Vanthali A XI for just 128. Though, they were just 18 runs short of the target but the fine bowling effort never really allowed the Vanthali batsmen to dictate terms and in the end Super Star won comfortably.
