Viper United Vs Brother’s United (Khas and Viper Season 2)
Viper United only managed to post 128 when they batted first but it turned out to be enough as they restricted Brother’s United to just 111 on the back of brilliant spell from Azeem Omer.
Viper United batted first and were off to a terrible start as they lost quick wickets at the start of the innings which was a setback for them as they had to work hard to rebuild the innings. The opening bowlers from Brother’s United bowled in perfect areas and did not give much space to the batsmen to work. The fielders also supported the bowlers which helped in applying extra pressure. Asif Junaid, during this difficult situation kept his calm and played a much needed innings of 55 of 59 balls which included 2 fours and 2 sixes. Though this was not the quickest innings ever played but still Asif’s effort under pressure were commendable. This innings lifted his side’s morale and they posted 128 in their 20 Overs.
It was a very modest chase but the bowling from Vipers made this modest total into a huge one. From the very beginning they did not allow the batsmen to score much and built pressure on them which resulted in wickets. The most impressive bowling effort came from Azeem Omer, who only bowled 3 overs and managed to pick up 4 wickets for just 4 runs, this was a dream bowling performance and he was given huge support from rest of the bowlers specifically, Daniyal and Faisal who picked up 3 wickets each. This extra ordinary bowling effort gave Viper United a very comfortable victory in the end by 17 runs.
