Gulshan Becks Vs Butt Brothers Cricket Club
Butt Brothers win it with a bang against the famous Gulshan Becks and snatched the spotlight.
Gulshan Becks were off to a relatively good start in the first innings of the match. Kamran Ahmed and Ali Manzar entered the pitch to bat first for their side and carried a partnership of 29 runs. After their dismissal, Taha Abidi kept the scoreboard ticking and knocked the ball around to score 30 runs for his side. Kamran and Aziz played a partnership of 28 runs and kept the ball rolling. Waqas Khan was the last batsman to score some decent runs for his side. He scored 26 runs, bringing the team total to 140 runs in 18 overs, but unfortunately the entire batting order was bowled by the brutal bowling attack of the Butt Brothers.
Butt Brothers performed tremendously well with the ball in the first innings, and they kept the spirit alive in the second innings as well. They started off with a bang, when Asad and Ali played a beautiful partnership of 85 runs, bringing their team a few steps closer to the victory. After this another partnership sealed the fates when Furqan and Noman Butt carried a partnership of 37 runs. Butt Brothers chased the target in 15 overs and won the match by 4 wickets.
