Crushers were to bat first against the DMC Hawks in the first innings of the match. Crushers were off to a disappointing start with their opening batsmen, who weren't able to grab some runs for their side. Farhan Ijaz and Shiraz Anis got the scoreboard ticking and the ball rolling by playing a partnership of 45 runs. DMC Hawks were looking lethal with their balling attack, who ensured that Crushers were not to set a defendable target and the wickets kept on falling at different intervals in the match. Noman Arshad and Gohar Anwar were the last two to score a partnership of 28 runs for the Crushers.Khurram Jahangir was the star player with the ball from DMC Hawks, who bowled an incredible spell of 3 overs and picked up 3 wickets, giving away only 7 runs. The second innings was a short one though. The opening pair played their part and scored half of the total required to chase down the target. After their dismissal, Mubashir and Sumair played the finishing shots and scored 26 runs, side by side and flew past the Crushers, all the way to victory.
