Karachi Patriots Vs Warriors CC
Faisal Butt's invincible performance with the bat, left the other team in a shock and took his side to glory.
Karachi Patriots were off to a smashing start against the Warriors CC. Faisal Butt was the first man in and stood his ground till the end of the innings. It was almost impossible for the Warriors CC to chop this giant batsmen down who was at the top of his game and was in top form. He played a marvelous innings by scoring 101 runs off 48 balls. He hit massive sixes and couple of boundaries to back his score. Aamir Motiwala was the other batsmen to support Faisal Butt and scored 55 runs. Karachi Patriots scored a total of 167 runs in 20 overs.
Warriors CC looked in good form with their opening pair who gave their side a decent start. Adamjee Tai and Adeel A Majid played a partnership of 46 runs. Usman Aman came one down and scored 35 runs for his side. These three players were the ones to keep the scoreboard rolling for their side, but soon after their wickets fell, none of the player from Warriors CC was able to make a difference for their side. ICT also came out with a strong bowling attack and stopped every batsmen from getting into form. Rizwan Dawan was the star bowler, when he picked up 3 wickets in 4 overs. Salman Moten and Hamad Idrees scored a total of 25 runs together and Umair Idrees was the last player to score 17 runs for his side. It was a good run by the Warriors CC, but in the end it was the Karachi Patriots who emerged victorious and won by 7 runs.
