Lions CC Vs BMCC
Mohammad Amir of the Lions CC brutally annihilated the BMCC batting order and took his side to celebrate a glorious win.
The first innings went under way as Irfan Ali and Rumi stepped on the pitch to bat first against the BMCC. Irfan Ali scored 11 runs and Rumi scored 8 runs at the start of the match. Soon after their dismissal, Zain Hasan came one down and played some beautiful shots to score 36 runs for his side. He was backed up by Mohammad Amir who scored 19 runs. Raheel Firdous played till the end of the innings and scored 20 runs. BMCC were doing their best to contain the Lions CC batting order from setting a massive target. The bowling attack was some what effective in doing so, and Abdul Hadi picked up 2 wickets in 2 overs. Lions CC scored a total of 153 runs in 20 overs.
BMCC were off to a flying start with Umair Paracha and Amir Khan as the opening pair at the start of the second innings. Umair Paracha scored 20 runs and Amir khan scored 22 runs. Both of them gave their side a magnificent start, and a hope to look forward towards a good chase. But the Lions CC did not loose heart and clawed the BMCC with their vicious bowling attack. As soon as the opening pair was dismissed, the whole batting line up came stumbling down. Mohammad Amir was the player of the match, who not only performed well with the bat in the first innings, but also bowled a marvelous spell of 4 overs, giving away only 20 runs and picked up 6 wickets. He was on the top of his game. In 18 overs, BMCC was bowled out at a total of 111 runs. Lions CC won by 42 runs.
