Reckitt and Benckiser Vs Summit Bank (4th Challengers Corporate Cup)
Summit Bank's Outstanding bowling attack ensured their Win against Reckitt and Benckiser.
Reckitt and Benckiser batted first against the Summit Bank in the first innings. Sheraz Rana and Owais Hassan were the opening batsmen and both of them were off to a slow start. Sheraz Rana scored 3 runs and Owais Hassan scored 26 runs. Summit Bank were looking forward to demolish the opposition's batting order with their outstanding bowling attack. The entire batting order was no match for the Summit Bank's strong bowling attack. We saw a couple of marvelous spells bowled in the first innings. Zohaib Khan and Tahir Nakkash bowled amazing spells and picked up 3 wickets each. The entire team was bowled out under 20 overs and made a total of 98 runs.
Summit Bank were off to a relatively slower start because the opening pair scored 20 runs. Haseeb Khan scored 8 runs and S M Faraz scored 12 runs. The top batting order was not successful in scoring decent runs for their side but as soon as Shahid Khan and Syed Baqar stood their ground and played the match winning innings. Shahid Khan scored 28 runs and Syed Baqar scored 40 runs off 27 balls. They chased the target in 14 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.
