Arsalan XI batted first and were off to a dismal start losing 2 early wickets which pushed them on the backfoot in the initial overs. The team lost wickets in quick succession before Daniyal and Zeeshan stepped in to lead the recovery. Zeeshan's cameo of 23 runs was further propelled by Daniyal whose impressive 57 run knock pulled his team back in the game. Kamran provided further support with a blistering 44 run knock to boost his team's total. The bowlers bowled well in patches but they could not keep the pressure on for long, Abdul Wasiq Chippa picked up 2 wickets to try and stop the flow of runs. The chase was off to a poor start as PDXI were rocked back by quick early wickets after a good start from Arsalan XI bowlers. This was an early setback for PDXI, who were chasing a reasonable target. Nabeel Akram then held one end and scored steadily from there. He did not play risky shots and scored 36 of 34 balls. After his dismissal, Junaid and Fasihullah got together and turned the match on its head with their match defining partnership. Junaid was the aggressor of the two as he unexpectedly took the charge to the bowlers during his crucial 47 runs off 29 balls and his partner, Fasihullah scored 26 runs off 22 balls. Shah Nawaz picked up 2 wickets but was unable to defend his team's total. PDXI chase down the target in 18.5 overs with 5 wickets in hand.
