Karachi Flames batted first and got off to a poor start losing two of their first 3 batsmen for golden ducks. Komail Sada was on fire with the ball as he picked up quick early wickets which left Karachi Flames on the backfoot, Komail Sada in the end went on to take 5 wickets for just 33 runs, he set up the tone for rest of the innings with his fine bowling. Ahmed Moten on the other hand was undisturbed and he went on to make a fighting 79 of just 59 balls, only Azlal Khan managed to give him some company as he scored 27 of 26 balls rest could not add much to the score. In the end, Karachi Flames scored 155.
After a brilliant bowling performance Shabbirabad started well with the bat too. In pursuit of 155, Murtaza and Lotia added more than 50 runs together to give their side a great start, Murtaza was looking threatening before he was run out for 42 of just 31 balls with 5 fours and a six. Later, the innings was carried forward by Ammar and Huzaifa who added 22 and 21 respectively. Both teams remained in the game to most part of the game but a little cameo from Hasnain who scored 10 of 3 gave an edge to Shabbirabad and in the end, they won of the second last ball.
