Strikers CC batted first and were off to a reasonable start as their openers Waqas Vakil and Saad Sultan formed a solid opening partnership and took advantage of early overs. Saad was looking good but his innings was cut short by Hamza Ali Khan who dismissed him for 12 of 11 balls, once he was dismissed Waqas was joined by Shahrukh and both batsmen then propelled the score forward. Waqas after hitting 3 sixes and 2 fours was dismissed for 38 whereas his partner Shahrukh managed to score 21 of 14 balls. The innings then took a nose dive for Strikers as they lost wickets in a heap and wasted the start, only Usman Irfan was fighting and he scored 38 of 30 balls with 3 sixes. Uzair Saleem was the chief contributor with the ball as he picked up 3 for 8 whereas Mohib also bowled a brilliant spell as he picked up 2 for 11. Strikers CC managed to score just 122 in their 20 overs.
In response, Benitoz were off to a flyer. Their openers were in staggering form and specially Rameez Mehboob was timing the ball sweetly. Tabish scored just 14 of just 13 balls and after his departure Rameez was joined by Sumail Aziz and they both batted with ease and kept the scoreboard ticking. Rameez Mehboob scored 68 of 55 balls whereas Sumail Aziz scored 30 of 32 balls. Bowlers were clueless against the duo and they kept searching for wickets but they were unable to find any. In the end, Benitoz won comfortably by 7 wickets only in 18.3 overs.
