MK United XI v Badshah XI
Badshah XI batted first and had a steady run with their opening pair doing well to set the foundation for their team. Salman's handy cameo of 24 got things going but it was his partner Faizan who top scored for his side with an impressive 46 run innings. However, despite the opening stance, the team lost wickets in regular intervals, unable to effectivey capitalize on it. Irfan Arif was the only other notable batsman on their side with a valuable 35 run knock lower down the innings. MK United bowlers did well to limit the opposition, with Muhammad Kashif leading the attack with his spell of 4 key wickets. Khurram Sarwar also picked up 2 wickets to stop the flow of runs. Badshah XI set a target of 194 runs in 20 overs.
MK United were off to a disastrous start in their chase after losing opener Imran for just 1 run. The team however recovered well with Farrukh Saeed leading the chase. His explosive knock of 82 runs came at a strike rate of 160, including 5 boundaries and 5 maximums. Sarfaraz Khan also joined in later with a knock of 42 runs to seal a comfortably victory for his side. Badshah bowlers Ikram Arif and Salman Hussain fought back, picking up 2 wickets each but it wasn't enough to defend their team's total. MK United chased down the target in 19 overs.
