Shahab & Co v Super Daddy Cricket Club
Shahab & Co batted first but lost opener Zahid Paracha for just 12 runs. Arif Mehboob and Jafar Qureshi however lead the recovery with impressive knocks of 56 and 55 runs to steer the momentum in their team's favor. Fahadis Bukhari also contributed a fiery cameo of 30 runs to propel his team to a competitive target of 182 runs in 20 overs. Daddy's bowlers were ineffective against the opposition, unable to pick wickets at key times and stop the flow of runs. Salman, Shahzad and Mohammad Naveed took a wicket each.
Super Daddy Cricket Club were off to a nightmare start with opener Omer being out for duck. Things seemed to pick up for the chasing side when Shehryar Qadir scored a much-needed 43 runs at a strike rate of 195 to get his team back on track. The team however struggled against an impressive bowling attack, losing wickets at regular intervals. Naeem Siddiqui and Adeel Mansha also scored cameos in their twenties but a partnership was required to get their team over the line. Shahab's bowlers were inform and on fire with Shahabuddin leading the attack with 3 wickets. Younus Paracha and Hassan Shahab also picked up 2 wickets each. Super Daddy CC were bowled out for 116 runs in 18.4 overs.
