Intellegal XI batted first and were off to a great start as the openers, Sohail and Kamran scored some useful runs at the top and gave their side a great platform. Sohail scored 20 off just 16 balls whereas Kamran Salam scored 36 off 29 with 4 fours and a six. After their dismissal, Shiraz and Taha propelled the score forward and played some lovely shots during their partnership. Shiraz Habib scored 32 off 30 balls with 3 fours and Taha scored 42 off 29 balls with 3 fours and a six. After some useful contributions at the top the innings took a nose dive as Intellegal lost some key wickets quickly. Sameer was deadly with the ball picking up 4 key wickets to stump the opposition. He was further supported by Barkat Ali who also took 2 wickets. Eventually cameos from Danish (18) and Muqtadir(14) helped them post a very competitive score of 191 in 20 overs.
Agha Khan Gymkhana needed a good start to challenge a big first innings score and Saud and Asif gave them exactly that. The opening pair scored half centuries with Saud smashing 58 off just 20 balls at a strike rate of 290 with 7 fours and 3 sixes and his partner scored 52* off 45 balls with 7 fours and 1 six. After a perfect opening stand, Agha Khan became the favorites to win the game but quick wickets in the middle order by Jalal and Sohail pushed them back. They were going down until Sabir came out in the middle, Sabir scored 64 off just 42 balls with 8 fours and made sure no more wickets were lost during the chase. Jalal picked up 2 wickets for his side but it wasn't enough. In the end, Agha Khan Gymkhana secured victory in 20.5 overs.
