Blue Dragon CC v Dehli Forum CC
Dehli Forum CC batted first at Al Mansoora cricket ground this past Sunday. Openers Asif and Faisal got things started with an impressive opening partnership. Asif knocked 33 off 28 with Faisal contributing 16. The team however seemed to lose wickets cheaply after that with Umair and Shoaib scoring cameos of 22 and 23 runs respectively. Blue Dragon bowler Ashar was outstanding in his spell, picking up 5 wickets for just 22 runs. Dehli Forum CC were limited to 129 for 9 in 20 overs.
In reply Blue Dragon CC lost opener Nabeel Zia for just 1 run. However his partner Bilal Ansari teamed up with one down Usama to score 23 and 32 runs. Zain Ali knocked 29 and Ashar who was having the game of his life scored 15. Dehli Forum bowlers were relatively ineffective against the opposition unable to pick wickets when needed. Blue Dragon CC chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
