Wintex Strikers and Classic Barbarians faced each other at RLCA Gulberg cricket ground as part of the Memon Super League Season 2 league match. Wintex batted first and lost opener Faisal Butt early after he had scored only 2 runs but Mubeen Ali was unfazed and scored 55 runs off just 40 deliveries while Usman Ghani contributed 20 runs before Kamran Butt and Adeel Abbasi took responsibility as Adeel got 40 runs while Kamran got 35 runs to enable Wintex to get to a good score of 173 for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Barbarians, Salman Dossani and Shahid Nepal took 2 wickets each while Saad Asif got a wicket.
In reply, Barbarians lost Taha Zindani early after he had scored just1 3 runs but Umair Yousuf on the other end continued to play his shots freely. Ahsan Zafar scored freely as he hit 36 runs off 25 balls while Ali Bantwa was dismissed after he had scored 13 runs off 7 deliveries. Umair Yusuf continued to bring his team close to the target but his 69 runs off 46 balls was not enough to get his team over the line as they ended at 159 for 5 in 20 overs and fell short by just 15 runs in the end. For Strikers, Saad Dawood got 2 wickets and Adeel Abbasi and Imran Idrees got a wicket each.
