Wintex Strikers and Gigi Gladiators faced each other at IBA Cricket ground as part of the Memon Super League Season 2. Wintex batted first and after an early loss of Tayyab Balagamwala, Faisal Butt and Ghazanfar Richie had a good partnership with Faisal out after scoring 40 runs while Ghazanfar scored a much needed 48 runs. Usman Yunus Ghani took things further with 28 runs as Wintex Strikers ended at 167 for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Gladiators, Anas and Maroof took 2 wickets each while Salman and Israr got a wicket each.
In reply, Gladiators had a bad start as Shakir Serang and Adeel Sabuwala were out early while star player Atif Ahmed was out after scoring only 19 runs. Anas Ahmed and Israr Ul Haq partnered up to fight back and brought their team close as Anas scored 78 runs and Israr got 36 runs but they fell short in the end and ended at 148 for 8 in 20 overs. For Strikers, Saad Dawood was key in taking 3 wickets while Kamran Butt and Ghazanfar Richie got 2 wickets each.
Wintex Strikers won by 19 runs.
