Benitoz Panthers faced Suleman Textile Stallions at RLCA cricket ground and Panthers batted first. Waseem Ali removed Tabish, Rameez and Sumail in quick succession and had Panthers reeling at 4 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Hamza Qadir then provided some stability with 52 runs off 34 deliveries at a strike rate of 153%. However, the other batsmen failed to get big scores and only Danish Aziz managed 19 runs as Panthers were all out for just 93 runs. Waseem Ali was sublime in his spell of 4 wickets, Idrees Amin took 3 wickets, Ali Mehar got 2 wickets and Muhammad Ali picked up a wicket.
In reply, Panthers got rid of Fahad Jabbar and Shezad Suleman early but Ali Mehar with a defiant 52 runs and Farrukh Rangoonia with 27 runs steered the team towards the eventual victory which Stallions did achieve albeit for the loss of 6 wickets. For Panthers, Ahmed Arshad took 3 wickets while Danish, Zeeshan and Hamza got a wicket each.
