Kutiyana Kings batted first against Okhai Stars at the Memon Cricket League (MCL). The team however imploded, outdone by a fantastic bowling performance by the Stars unit. Opener Danish Aziz and Hunain Usman were the only players to keep their wickets intact and fight back with knocks of 40 and 34 runs respectively that saved their side from a complete collapse. Stars bowler Shahid Jiwani shined in his spell, picking up 4 wickets while Salman Asif also chipped in with a couple. The team did well to restrict the opposition to a low total of 129 for 9 in 20 overs.
What happened next was absolutely brilliant by Kutiyana Kings. Hunain Usman who was having the game of his career was relentless with the ball, picking up 3 wickets in his spell. Maroof Aziz joined in to also take 3 in his spell, constantly hindering the run chase. Okhai Stars batsmen were out of sorts with the exception of Saqib Razzaq who top scored with 23 runs, the team were undone by the Kings bowlers. Okhai Stars were dismissed for 112 in 18.2 overs.
Kutiyana Kings won by 17 runs.
