Raj XI kept their cool against Bavanx CC at the all important final. Batting first, Raj XI lost the opening pair of Saifuddin's cheaply. Ali Khomusi and Arif Hussaini however then stepped in to lead the recovery with valuable knocks of 43 and 44 runs respectively to pull their team back in the game. Adnan Qaid also knocked 26 to help propel Raj XI to 154 for 6 in 20 overs. Bavanx bowlers picked wickets frequently but could not contain the run flow effectively.
In response, Bavanx batsmen did well to comfortably chase down the target with each of their players contributing. Saifuddin Muqaddam top scored for his side with 33 while Shabbir and Mufaddal chipped in cameos in their twenties to secure a comfortable victory. Raj XI bowlers were relatively ineffective, unable to pick wickets when needed and could not defend the total. Bavanx chased down the target in 17.2 overs.
