ZamZam Sports batted first against Vanthali Memon Association with their openers coming out with guns blazing. The duo of Muhammad Usman and Amir Shehzad smashed 51 and 42 runs respectively to set the team up well. With the foundation set, cameos in their twenties by Mahmood Ali and Arsalan Wasim and a late surge of 31 by Faizan Khan propelled ZamZam Sports to a competitive 186 for 5 in 20 overs. Vanthali's bowlers were weak against the opposition with only Waqas being the stand out bowler, taking 3 wickets in his spell.
In response, Vanthali's chase could not have started off worse, they lost opener Khurram Wahab for duck. Things however did seem to get better when the top order of Muzammil Mehboob, Hamza Shahnawaz, Abdul Mannan and Naveed Nagda fought back with valuable contributions but once they were dismissed the remaining batsmen imploded. ZamZam bowlers did well to keep the pressure on with Muhammad Usman, Mahmood Ali, Rafiq Khatak and Muhammad Asif taking 2 wickets each. Vanthali Memon Association were bowled out for 133 in 19 overs.
ZamZam Sports won by 53 runs.
