A subdued Bantva Lions went up against Kutiyana Kings at the qualifiers and had their weakest day at the Memon Cricket League (MCL) so far. Batting first, the team simply could not build an innings, getting off to a few good starts but unable to capitalize any further. Bilal Omer, Adeel Sabuwala and Ali Bantwa were the contributors for their side with knocks in their thirties. Kutiyana's bowlers did well to keep the pressure on throughout the innings with Maroof Aziz and Imran Idrees picking up 2 wickets each and the rest of the bowling unit chipping and taking wickets when needed. Bantva Lions ended at 164 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Kutiyana Kings came out with confidence. Opener Danish Aziz was in prime form as he smashed an impressive 84 off 57 which included 5 boundaries. He was joined by Salman Sanghani whose valuable 51 all but sealed a very dominant victory. Eventually, it was Hunain Usman's 15 that helped wrap up the innings in 19.1 overs. Bantva bowlers were out of sorts, outdone by a fantastic display of batting.
Kutiyana Kings won by 6 wickets and are through to the finals.
