Bilal Associates batted first at the final of the 3rd Big Bash tournament against KPS. Opener Kamran Hussain knocked a solid 33 before Ali Iqbal took over to steer a brilliant innings for his side. His 92 off just 54 deliveries included 7 boundaries and 6 sixes as Bilal Associates were boosted to a competitive 173 for 6 in 20 overs. For KPS, the bowlers were unable to contain the run flow and despite picking up wickets in regular intervals, it wasn't enough for a final.
In response, KPS lost opener Awais Khan for 1 and things did not get any easier after that! The team continued to lose wickets cheaply with only Qadir Khan showing any fight in his knock of 41. Rehan Khan and S M Zafar also tried to keep the scoreboard ticking with cameos in their twenties but were unable to build an innings. Saqib Khan took 2 wickets for Bilal Associates but the team were restricted to 138 for 7 in 20 overs.
Bilal Associates won by 35 runs and were crowned champions.
