What a brilliant partnership! Ridan Warriors batted first against VMA at the 18th Challengers Cup but lost opener and one down batsmen for duck however Bilal Vichi and Yasir Tanveer were unstoppable. The pair put up a brilliant partnership of 172 runs with Bilal leading the innings with an exceptional knock of 97 not out, unfortunate to not get his century. Yasir Tanveer kept the momentum going on the other end with his 72 run innings which included 7 boundaries. For VMA Hamza Shahnawaz took 2 wickets as Ridan Warriors ended at 172 for 2 in 20 overs.
In response, VMA batsmen each contributed to helped their team get over the line. Amir Majeed and Naveed Nagda knocked 35 runs each but the real star was Farrukh Rangonia whose match winning 59 not out included 9 boundaries and 1 six. Ahmed Moten took 2 wickets for Warriors but VMA were comfortably over the line in 19.1 overs.
