Karachi All Stars batted first against Amazing Stars and put on a dominant show. Openers Faraz and Qasim kickstarted the proceedings with a fantastic partnership. Faraz's 86 off 41 came at a strike rate of over 200 while M Qasim provided support on the other end with a handy half century. With the foundation set, cameos by the rest of the batsmen easily boosted Karachi All Stars to a mammoth 212 for 4 in 18 overs. Amazing Stars bowlers were helpless and out of sorts with Mani being the most notable bowler for their side with 2 wickets.
In response, Amazing Stars needed an extraordinary innings to chase down this target. Karachi All Stars however kept the momentum going in their favour, dismissing opener Anas for duck. Amazing Stars were a complete disaster after that thanks to skipped Ammar Altaf whose 5 wicket haul left the opposition in tatters. With the exception of Mani (47) who seemed like the only player to turn up that day, none of the Amazing Stars batsmen could keep their wickets intact or the scoreboard ticking. Anas Hussain and Muhammad Amir also took 2 wickets each as Amazing Stars were bundled out for 126 in 15.3 overs.
