Kalsoft Knights batted first against Karachi Gladiators with Ahmed Sharjeel stealing the show. Opener Asif Iqbal was dismissed cheaply for just 14 runs before his partner Ahmed stepped in with a sublime 61 to boost the Knights total. Imran, Naveed and Shayan also contributed cameos in their twenties as Kalsoft Knights ended at a defendable 166 for 8 in 20 overs. Gladiators bowler Rabish Ahmed was in form taking 3 wickets in his spell while the rest of the bowling unit continued to make dents throughout the innings.
In response, Karachi Gladiators batsmen simply could not get going in the chase. Rameez Mehboob was the only player to show any intent with an unlucky 49. Faisal Haroon provided some support with 24 but after the top order was dismissed, the rest of the team simply collapsed. Alishan Aslam and Usman Khan also took 2 wickets each.
