Karachi Gladiators batted first at against Muslim Gymkhana at the Al Wakeel Cricket League. The team however struggled against a formidable bowling attack with only Hunain Usman's 28 and Muzammil Mehboob's 31 providing any hope. Wickets continued to fall as Gymkhana's bowlers kept things tight and the pressure on throughout the innings. Salman Dossani and Saad Dawood were the key culprits with 2 wickets each while the rest of the bowling unit chipped in and there were 2 unlucky run outs. Karachi Gladiators ended at 130 in 20 overs.
In response, Muslim Gymkhana did not hold back in the chase. Opener Saad Razzak lead from the front with an impressive 48 to set the foundation for a very comfortable victory. Fahad Farooq's 22 and Fahad Jabbar's 19 eventually guided Muslim Gymkana to chase down the target in 15.2 overs. While Karachi Gladiators bowlers picked up a few wickets, the total was too low to defend.
