Kalsoft Knights batted first against Karachi Gladiators and lost opener Kumail Jaffry for duck. His partner Ahmed Sharjeel knocked 34 runs helping his side to recovery supported by the steady hand of Naveed Nagda whose impressive 52 not out kept the scoreboard ticking. Gladiators bowlers however were in form and on fire with Rabish Ahmed shining in his spell of 4 wickets. The team continued to strike when required with the Knights batting line up out of sorts. Imran Idrees also picked up a wicket as Kalsoft Knights ended at 148 for 9 in 20 overs.
Karachi Gladiators stepped out to bat with a determined Rabish Ahmed leading from the front. His brilliant 82 not out carried his side to victory smashing 10 boundaries and 4 sixes. Knights bowlers were unable to break the strong hold and cameos by Rameez Mehboob and Sami Afridi took Karachi Gladiators to chase down the target in 14.2 overs.
