Karachi All Stars batted first against Tigers XI with opener Uzair leading from the front. His 37 run knock gave his side confidence with Sheriyar and Salman chipping in cameos. A flurry of quick wickets threatened the All Stars batting line up before skipper Ammar Altaf stepped in to lead the recovery. His fiery 42 boosted Karachi All Stars to a defendable 172 for 5 in 20 overs. Tigers bowler Omer picked up 2 wickets and the rest of the unit chipped in.
In response, Tigers XI lost a flurry of quick wickets in their top order and were unable to recover after that. Opener Omer was the only player who showed any intent with his knock of 52 runs. Waleed also contributed with 31 but the rest of the team simply imploded. All Stars player Ammar did well to limit the opposition taking 3 wickets in his spell. Tigers XI were restricted to 138 for 7 in 20 overs.
