Karachi Corporate t20 League final was held this past Saturday at RLCA with Creative Chaos batting first against Digitonics Labs. Digitonics won the toss and elected to field first. Chaos lost opener Maaz Mustafa for duck but seemed to recover well after that. Shoaib Baig lead the innings with an impressive 52 run knock that helped to stabilize his side. Daniyal Ahmed boosted his side further with a fiery 48 and a cameo of 29 by Kamran Shahid propelled Creative Chaos to 195 for 6 in 20 overs. Fayyaz Hussain and Atif Raza were the key wicket takers with 2 scalps each and the rest of the bowling unit chipped in.
In response, Digitonics Labs started the chase strong with openers Fayyaz and Ilyas scoring runs effectively. They contributed 37 and 32 runs respectively to set the foundation for their side. The team lost a few quick wickets before Zeeshan Haider stepped in to dominate the innings. His sublime 72 not out off just 39 balls threatened to take the game away as Digitonics were restricted to 178 for 4 in 20 overs. Chaos bowler Shoaib took 2 wickets.
Creative Chaos won by 17 runs and were crowned champions.
