Khas are unstoppable at the Legends Cup once again defeating new entrants Terry World Tigers. Terry World Tigers however batted first and put up a mammoth total. Openers Talha Ahmedani and Kamil Mehmood set up a solid foundation contributing 46 and 29 runs respectively. One down Mirza Shoaib then upped the ante with a fiery 73 that boosted Terry World Tigers to 204 for 6 in 20 overs. Khas bowlers looked out of sorts with Waseem Ali picking up 2 wickets but the rest of the bowling unit were put away for plenty.
In response, Khas had to produce an extraordinary performance to chase down this target and their batsmen delivered. Openers Ahmed Hussain and Afnan Karim started things off slow knocking 28 and 35. Yasir Tanveer kept the scoreboard ticking with his 35 too but it was Adnan Sohail who drove his side home. His innings of 72 off 36 came at a blistering strike rate of 200 leaving the Tigers bowlers in tatters. Shahzaib Ahmed tried to pull back the opposition taking 3 wickets in his spell followed by Kamil Mehmood who took 2 wickets but Khas chased down the target in 19.2 overs.
Khas won by 5 wickets.
