Benitoz Panthers batted first against Karachi Patriots at the Legends Cup by DK Investments and completely fell apart. The bowling side were in form and on fire, consistently taking wickets and ripping through the batting line up. Benitoz top order struggled to put runs on the board with the exception of Sumail Aziz's 34 and Hasan Mehmood's 47. Adnan Ghazi was the key wicket taker for his side with 3 scalps while Adeel Abbasi and the ever reliable Sameer Ahmedani took 2 wickets each. The Panthers line up threw away their wickets and were eventually 170 all out.
In response, Karachi Patriots wasted no time in the chase with Faisal Butt and Usman Ghani leading from the front. Faisal smashed an exquisite 68 off 46 but Usman took it a step further. His blistering 69 came at an explosive strike rate of over 200 leaving the Panthers running for cover. Adeel Sabuwala also chipped in with 30 as Karachi Patriots raced home in 16.4 overs.
Karachi Patriots won by 9 wickets.
